Jessica Castillo Tolston for CVESD

Committed to fostering an environment where every student thrives. Join us in building a brighter future for education in Chula Vista

Why I am running:

I want to continue on the Board of Education because  now, more than ever, our teachers, staff, parents, students, and community, need our support.

My son and I know firsthand how significant the CVESD community can be. We have been fortunate to have been accepted in a district school that has been nothing but supportive in our lives.  When my husband passed away in 2023, the teachers and administration rallied around us to ensure that we had all the resources we needed to make it through such a difficult time.  Every single person in CVESD that we encountered showed us true concern and compassion.  Our school community provided all the resources that have been instrumental in my son's, and my emotional well-being.

I am seeking re election because I want to pay it forward and continue working and supporting our teachers and staff directly. I believe that we should work and develop as a community. I want to  be of service. I want to continue to serve.
